The hardest part of a startup

The one thing that kills ninety percent of startups before they ever find it. Part one of trying to reach product market fit and not die.

What is the hardest part of a startup?

It is the one thing that, the moment you find it, you just know. Everything your startup does has to be built around it. And it does not arrive on a schedule. It can take months. It can take years.

It is also the thing that kills ninety percent of startups before they ever get there. They run out of time, money, or belief while they are still looking for it.

That thing is product market fit.

Most startups die searching for the one thing that would have saved them.

This is part one of me trying to find it, and trying not to die along the way. I am going to share the honest version of the journey, not the highlight reel.

Follow along. Here is part one on Instagram.
